Prior to the project, the open commons area was not fully utilized by students and faculty. The goal of the project was to create an inviting environment for all to enjoy and to attract additional students to the vocational training programs offered at the facility.

A more intimate environment was created by surrounding the area with booths on one side and a counter unit with seaweed glass panels on the other side of the space.

Comfortable, padded booth seating combine with colored laminate surfaced tables to create a cozy space to dine, study and socialize.

Bar stools, combined with the contoured counter offers attractive, yet efficient seating for individual students.
