Carthage High School’s new home opened in the spring of 2009. The building is intended to serve as a supportive physical environment for dynamic educational practices. The new building is also meant to support the school’s mission: to provide the educational opportunities necessary for all students to develop into independent, responsible and productive citizens.

SSI Furnishings, Inc. advised the school on their selection of furniture to match its design and character. Classroom furniture at Carthage High School was chosen to reflect the school's earnest, forward-looking educational mission. Classrooms in the high school are outfitted with Artco-Bell’s Prodigy™ Z-Leg Desks and Prodigy™ Z-Leg Chairs for students and Artco-Bell’s Teacher Desks for teachers.

Carthage Classroom - Prodigy™ Z-Leg

The cutting edge design, easy mobility, and comfort of the Prodigy™ Z-leg desk and chair gives the classroom a functional yet sleek and modern look the fits the character of a new school striving to educate the citizens of the future.

Carthage Classroom - Teacher's Desk

The Teacher Desk combines storage and usability in a desk that retains a solid yet compact presence.

Carthage Cafeteria

As a multi-use space, the cafeteria needed furniture that could be quickly and safely moved, a hallmark of Midwest's mobile cafeteria tables. This need for easy handling led to the matching of Midwest’s Mobile Round Tables with Artco-Bell’s Discover™ chairs.
